The Sundance house is the result of the internalization of concepts that translate to symbols and forms, which create spaces, tangible and intangible. A request from the client, the curvature that must be represented and what better way to do it than through the cover. Given the remoteness of site where the project will be built, we opted for the development of the representation of the curve, through the shadows that are projected by the screens of the organic elements coming from a changing sunlight according to the journey along its way in the direction east – west, that is, in the transverse direction of the house. Light symbolizing energy, the origin of force and curved and organic forms, representing the natural, growth and response to transformation, the metamorphosis of life.

Openness   |   Light Textures   |   Family Integration   |   Leisure   |   Horizontality

The views of the sea were the inspiration. Architecture only follows that natural horizontality. We design a main axis. When you enter the house, the first thing you see is the view of the sea that leaves you breathless, as this house is located in the upper part of the mountain and allows you to see Herradura Bay. We incorporated elements in wood that create shapes with the sun, creating textures with light in special places in the house.
